At least the OSRS version is skiller-friendly. It only requires a Dragon Hatchet + Smouldering Stone, which happens to be tradable. When used for woodcutting, it is equivalent to a Dragon Hatchet in speed. It is the first tool in RuneScape that doubles as a tool, being able to train both Mining and Woodcutting with it. #MakeInfernoAdzeGreatAgainĮDIT: OSRS has Inferno Axe, which is the equivalent of Inferno Adze. The Inferno Adze is the reward for keeping all fourteen beacons lit in the minigame from the quest All Fired Up. Again, I understand the "you chose to limit yourself" mentality but certainly some pieces of dead(ish) content could be revived by catering certain groups of players. I'm not saying to make every "noob" item great again but for this item in particular, it has a lot of requirements to unlock and in today's day/age, very few people but skillers will benefit off this. I can understand that it may take some dev time but surely enough, Inferno Adze had an amazing potential for being a great item. However, make the requirements for lighting the beacons instead be used for "beacon keepers" Remove ALL requirements for lighting certain beacons except Firemaking levels and levels to repair certain things. Remove the Priest in Peril requirement to do All Fired Up quest So how would the requirements be played out? NOTE: This requirement could potentially change if balancing is needed.

So really, who else would benefit from Inferno Adze aside from people who chose to avoid combat? Only skillers realistically. Now for anyone who doesn't know, Superheat form DOES give pet chance, albeit more rolls per hour than Adze. For ironmen, you would have most likely gotten a Dragon Hatchet before Inferno Adze. Sure it acts as a Dragon Hatchet but it's not that expensive for high levels (not to mention not augmentable). I could not think of a single scenario where you would use this over Superheat Form. It easily makes (nearly) Inferno Adze dead content. Even if you haven't completed the Light Within, the other alternative for training firemaking would've been through Bonfires not Adze.

Use digsite pendant and run, or just run, West to the beacon North of the sawmill. Light it and leave the tender with 5 logs.

Run North West to the 'Rag & Boneman' beacon. One postcard will be chosen at random to win the Inferno Adze on the 2nd of September. From a time/efficiency point of view, you're much better off investing it on completing The Light Within quest as opposed to getting the Adze (only reason being Varrock tasks/comp). Let's begin the run -Light the first beacon here and leave the tender with 5 logs to keep it going. Send it to the address below: RuneScape Community Team. Superheat form burns at 100% when cut and drains so little prayer (thus don't need much more attention). A lot of people have completed The Light Within quest, which unlocks Superheat Form (and many other nice things). I understand the "you chose to limit yourself" mentality but it's 2017.
